The two heat maps above show areas of concentration of the last 100 reported shootings in Baltimore. The second map, we've included the data points to show how the heat graphic displays concentration. While no map perfectly depicts information, this is an interesting tool to show areas of crime concentration- particularly shootings.

In the case of these heat maps, "hotter areas" or bright yellow areas are locations with higher concentration of shootings based on proximity to each other.
