SpotCrime has recently added significant more data to our Houston Crime map below. Historically, the Houston Police Department was providing data one month behind the current month. They have just started to make the crime data available on a daily basis. Once the data become more current, the news reported data is crowed out by other less newsworthy crimes (thefts and burglaries).

SpotCrime is still collecting reported shootings in Houston, and we have provided a heat map that shows the concentration of where the shootings happen in the city.
