Each crime type on SpotCrime are represented by a different icon. Shootings have a crosshairs icon, assaults are fists, thefts are represented by a blue man, burglaries ad robberies are represented by men in black, vandalism by a spray can, arsons by flames and other crimes are depicted with a question mark. All crimes that don't fall into the previous eight categories get put into Other.
