SpotCrime - The Public's Crime Map

SpotCrime is now mapping Logan County, OH ! Logan County is located about an hour outside of Columbus and about 2 hours away from Cincinnati . The Sheriff's office patrols the entire county, but most of the major incidents occur in the less rural areas. The county can be found in west central Ohio and has a population of over 45,000. It's county seat is Bellefontaine which holds the highest point in Ohio - Campbell Hill - which is only 1,550 feet high (less than .3 of a mile!). SpotCrime now has a map for Mansfield, OH, the county sear of Richland County .  Mansfield is located directly in between Cleveland and Columbus and has a population of almost 50k, the largest 'mid-ohio' city.  It was founded in 1808 on the fork of the Mohican River. The above crime map represents the seven assaults attributed to one rapist in Columbus. Most are in their 20's and live alone, or their husbands are not home at the time of attack. Police say the rapist would first stalk the women, then breaks into their homes and attacks them while they are asleep.
