SpotCrime - The Public's Crime Map

SpotCrime is now mapping Logan County, OH ! Logan County is located about an hour outside of Columbus and about 2 hours away from Cincinnati . The Sheriff's office patrols the entire county, but most of the major incidents occur in the less rural areas. The county can be found in west central Ohio and has a population of over 45,000. It's county seat is Bellefontaine which holds the highest point in Ohio - Campbell Hill - which is only 1,550 feet high (less than .3 of a mile!). After almost two years of work, SpotCrime is now mapping Franklin County ! Our quest to start mapping Franklin County started with our interest in mapping all crime in Columbus, OH . Franklin County itself is the second largest county in Ohio (followed by Cuyahoga County which holds Cleveland), Columbus is Franklin County's seat and the largest city in Ohio. Franklin County has a population of over 1 million, so naturally we'd be interested in mapping what happens in the city and county - crime knows on boundaries. With the help of the Dublin, OH Police Department, SpotCrime is now mapping Dublin, OH! Dublin has an approximate population of 41k and is located just north west of Columbus.  The city is found in Franklin, Delaware and Union counties.  The city is home to the Memorial Golf Tournament which is a stop on the PGA Tour.  It also holds the Dublin Irish Festival, one of America's largest Irish festivals.
