SpotCrime - The Public's Crime Map

There were 20 shooting incidents in Baltimore City from this past Friday (June 21) to today (June 25). Check out a screenshot of the crime list below. View the entire crime list here. Here are some numbers to put into perspective how crazy this weekend was in Charm City: There were 20 incidents that were located in 7 of the 9 police districts over a span of about 5 days. From the information that can be collected from the crime list, there were 27 victims (some with multiple gun wounds), 14 were men and 6 were women. Thankfully, we don't see any children listed as victims. Some say the more the temperature increase, the more crime that takes place. Let's hope Baltimore cools off for the rest of the summer. Crimetip.us is designed to work on a mobile device, your desktop, or laptop - without an app that you have to download. Just add a location, details about the tip including date, location, and time and any personal information you'd like to provide (or just stay anonymous). Once the 'Submit Tip' button is selected, a very unique URL will is created that is shared only with the proper authorities. There is a 'Submit a Tip' link on every state map page , city map page , and crime detail page of SpotCrime - thats over 20 million pages worth of crimes and maps! Our mission

SpotCrime has launched CrimeTip.us , an easy to use crime tip submission platform. Crime prevention can not be achieved by police departments alone. SpotCrime is run with the hopes that the easier it is for the public to view and share public crime information, the easier it is for communities to become informed and involved, and the easier it will be to lower the crime rate.
