Adding Broward County to SpotCrime means we are now mapping the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd most populated counties in the state of Florida , covering a population of over 5.5 million! The most populated county is Miami-Dade County and the 3rd most populated is Palm Beach County . We've been mapping both counties for a couple of years now. The Broward County Sheriff's office is the largest fully accredited Sheriff's office in the nation.
