Shootings in Charlotte, NC

We've noticed a rash of shootings in Charlotte, NC recently. Check out the SpotCrime Charlotte Map for a more in depth look. Shootings are categorized as Aggravated Assaults by most other crime mapping companies. We break them out because a bullet can travel farther and cause a lot more damage than a fist or other weapon. And shootings sometimes end up targeting innocent people. We've also created a shooting timeline for Charlotte since summer started in June.
