San Antonio Crime Heat Map Shootings

The crime maps above depict areas of intensity commonly known as heat maps. The data used to create these maps is the last one hundred reported shootings in San Antonio. Based on other crime maps done by SpotCrime , these maps seem to have more areas of intensity than others. Bright yellow areas are the hottest areas for shootings or the highest areas of concentration of shootings in San Antonio. Both maps are using the same data. The map with the push pins is showing the specific shootings mapped by SpotCrime to generate the heat map.

Houston Crime Map New Data and Shooting Heat Map

SpotCrime has recently added significant more data to our Houston Crime map below. Historically, the Houston Police Department was providing data one month behind the current month. They have just started to make the crime data available on a daily basis. Once the data become more current, the news reported data is crowed out by other less newsworthy crimes (thefts and burglaries). SpotCrime is still collecting reported shootings in Houston, and we have provided a heat map that shows the concentration of where the shootings happen in the city.

Crime Heat Maps Shootings Baltimore Annapolis

The two maps below depict shooting hot spots in Baltimore using HeatMaps Api application. Bright yellow areas are areas of high intensity or heat or where there is a higher concentration of shootings. The first crime map is without the pushpin data and the second shows the underlying shooting data that created the intensity. And the final map is a combined push pin/ heatmap of the shootings in Annapolis. It is interesting to note the areas of concentration from an earlier heat map done in March.
