UPDATE: Fourth Shooting Linked to first 3: FBI Links Shootings in Northern Virginia--Open Investigation Under Way

A fourth shooting aimed at Marine Corp establishments in the northern Virginia area has been connected to three others.

The National Museum of the Marine Corp in Triangle, VA was shot at again on Thursday October 28th after the establishment was closed.

Ballistics tests have link this shooting to 3 others that occurred about a week and a half earlier.

On October 17th, the Museum was first shot at in the early morning.  On October 19th, the Pentagon became a target and on October 25th, the shooter directed his gun at the Marine Corp Recruiting Station in Chantilly, VA.

Police say the shooter has been using a high-velocity gun.  All of the shootings have occurred in the early morning or late evenings and thankfully no one has been injured.

Local Police and the FBI are conducting the investigation together.  If you have any information on this case, please contact your local police department.
