New Orleans is the location of numerous Mardi Gras celebrations, the French Quarter and Bourbon Street ; ground zero to the hurricane Katrina destruction, the Ninth Ward, and the recent BP oil spill ; home to beignets , numerous spicy and delicious creole recipes , spontaneous street bands, rap superstar Lil Wayne and 2009 Super Bowl Champs New Orleans Saints ( WHO DAT!? )--the list could go on--and the city is now the newest updated map on SpotCrime !
