Eight shootings involving eleven children across the US since Memorial Day

Since the end of Memorial Day, we’ve mapped 8 different shooting incidents across the US where a total of 11 children have been shot. June 6 alone saw 4 shootings. Some of the incidents are gang related, and most of the children were not the intended targets. However, one shooting is domestic violence related and the shooter intentionally shot 3 children, killing one. Two of the shootings involved children playing with loaded guns.
