Gaston County Crime is Mapped!

SpotCrime has created a crime map for Gaston County, NC!

Gaston County is located west of the city of Charlotte and it's county seat is Gastonia. The approx population of Gaston County is 190k with Gastonia being the second largest city in the Charlotte Area (Charlotte is the first largest)

The SpotCrime map populates information provided by the Gastonia and Gaston County Police departments. The department enjoys that they can share this kind of information so quickly with their residents. Captain Melton from the PD enjoys that "[the departments] can get information out that we think needs to get out there to the public we serve.” He also likes that the crime map and alerts are provided to the department and residents free of charge.
